Bill White’s Alaska Sports lodge is now booking exciting fishing trips for Alaska Salmon & Halibut including accommodation packages at our Lodge located on the Kenai River in Sterling Alaska. Our fall season Mushroom Foray plans are also in full swing.
Bill White’s Alaska Sports Lodge opened its doors in 1997 but that is not when it all began. Bill White Jr. migrated to Alaska and began living and fishing the Kenai River in 1988. We have not missed a season on the Kenai River since then. Our dedication to providing the most seasoned Kenai River Guides and catering to our clients is paramount to our success. You, as our guest at this family run business are ensured that our goal is the success of your Alaska adventure. We will do our utmost to send you home with a lifetime of fond memories, whether you’re fishing for that Trophy Kenai Chinook, chasing Sockeye Salmon on Fly Rod or coming to join our fall Silver Salmon season and Mushroom forays.

Bill White’s Alaska Sports Lodge is a located on the Kenai River just below the confluence of the Moose River in the town of Sterling. As fish migrate up river they tend to stall and hold up below the Moose-Kenai river confluence in which is our Kenai River frontage location. The property consists of 3 acres of private land with 300 ft of river frontage for your shore fishing pleasure. You will be pleased to know that personal attention is given to all our clients by the onsite owners of the lodge. Alaska Sports Lodge maintains just three premium cottages and two lodge rooms. This limits the maximum number of clients at the camp at any given time keeping the experience personal. Your options at the Lodge include great shore fishing, relaxing from your private deck or preparing your catch on one of the many gas or charcoal grills. Join a group around the central fire pit in the evenings to tell tall tales of the days Alaska adventure or catch tackle lessons as Captain Bill prepares the gear for the next days adventure.
